passed my test first time with derek with only three minors. he was brilliant during all my lessons, we had a good laugh but got done what had to be done. also answered all the questions i was usure about before my theory & practical. would highly recommend derek to anyone :-)

passed my test first time and with 3 minor faults, derek was great at helping me to develop my driving skills, he was friendly and patient and gave you encouragement when required..highly recommended...also great for a laugh. looking forward to my pass plus now.

passed my test first time with derek in a short time with not many lessons, he´s a great instructer always makes each lesson a good laugh as well as getting the driving done :) love his car and really miss not having lessons with him anymore!!

Passed my driving test first time with derek. An absolutely amazing instructor that i would recommend to anyone. You dont feel pressured to do everything perfect when you are out in a lesson and he always tells you when you do well which was great:D Very patient instructor who creates a very relaxed atmosphere. He works at a pace that suits you ensuring you get the best out of every lesson. Hes always up for a chat but makes sure the driving comes first. I really miss my lessons wish i could do loads more!

i passed my test first time with derek, lessons were very relaxed. i passed after a block of 10 lessons, would definitely recommend derek, i have had a few driving instructors and derek has been the most laid back and helpful at the same time.

Passed first time time with Derek, all lessons were always relaxed and a good laugh but helpful and ensure you are ready for your test at the same time. Builds up your confidence easily and makes it easier to drive, Cheers Derek.

I am a 38 year old man who started taking lessons with Derek last Sept. I passed my test in the Dec with no minor faults. I would highly recommend Derek for driving lessons. Who said you cant teach an old dog new tricks. Derek is not only a great instruction that gives good encouragment but his pass rate is second to none. I cant thank him enough for for getting me my license at such an old age.

took my first lesson with derek the day after i turned 17. passed my theory first time and passed the test first time with no minors after only 9 lessons. always guaranteed a good laugh with derek whilst picking up vital points that are essential for the test. he creates a relaxed atmosphere that doesnt put you under any pressure. gutted it only took 9 lessons to be honest, miss the banter. haha.

I took my lessons with derek and passed my theory+test on the 1st attempt getting only 5 minors in my test thanks to dereks expert teaching.You couldn't meet a more nice and down to earth guy.its like driving around with your best mate lol which helps with the nervs.he explains all the manouvers well and answers any questions you might have.
